Farner - Alden, age 85 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Homestead Center in Lancaster. He was born January 31, 1933 in Lawtons, NY, the son of Alvah and Eva (Pagett) Farner. He was a member of the Lancaster United Brethren Church and had served as a Pastor in the Baptist Church for over 50 years.

He is survived by his children, Sharon (Tom) Youtsey, of Somerset, Linda (Richard) Schnieders, of Ft. Myers, FL, Douglas (Renee) Farner, of Mt. Gilead, and Carole (George) Narouz, of Gahanna;11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sisters, Janice McCoy, of Lexington, KY, and Helen Luther, of Lawtons, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjory (Ingram) Farner; infant son, David Farner; daughter, Patricia Ginder; brother, Monroe Farner. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Mortons Corners Cemetery, Springville, NY.
