HUFF,  Barbara  "Bobbie" (Jimerson), Dec 17, 2020 of the Cattaraugus Seneca Territory at the age of 92 Years.  Member of the Bear Clan

Beloved wife of the late Nelson R. "Bally" Huff.  Loving mother of Julie (Robert) Jimerson, Roberta Jones, Kerwin, Wendy and Michael "Sam" Huff.  Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Sister of Carolyn Pierce and the late Hazel Black, Walden "Sonny" Jimerson, Irene Christianson, Freda Lay and the Dorothy Jimerson.  Private visitation Saturday 4- 8 PM    at the Wentland Funeral Home 10634 Main St ( Rt 62) North Collins, NY where private funeral services will be held at Sunday at 9:30 am.

"Bobbie" was family and community-oriented.  She was a Charter and Senior Lifetime Member of the American Legion Iroquois Post #1587; and among a group of Seneca women to become firemen and join the CIRVFD, the first area department to allow women as members, and she then certified as an EMT.  She was a founder of Seneca Sachems football and long-time supporter of Newtown Golden Eagles Lacrosse.  Bobbie was a Registered Nurse, graduated from E.J. Meyer Hospital, was an advocate of Indian Education and had an interest in Seneca and Iroquois history.  She was a matriarch and leaves a legacy of three generations to carry on.

The family extends sincere appreciation for kind words, thoughts, and condolences as we mourn and take care to insure health and safety of family and friends.  Graveside service is open to public.
