Smolinski - Daniel "Smoker" January 1, 2021 of Boston, NY suddenly and peacefully due to covid at 71 years of age.  Devoted husband and best traveling partner of 46 years to Patricia "Trix" (Kobel). Loving father to Daniel (Vanessa) and Debra (Michael Litwin). Cherished grandfather to Owen, Diana and Veronica. Loving brother to the late David Smolinski. Son of the late Joseph and Adeline (Krolick) Smolinski. Favorite brother-in-law to Beth (late Glenn) Lockwood, Kevin (Sharon) Kobel, Rick (Linda) Kobel, Carol (Terry) Gendron, Robert (Sherri) Kobel, Sheila (Peter) Geist, Janice (Kevin) Pearson and the late Kenny Kobel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior visitation.   Services will be held at a later date.  Smoker was an umpire for 41 years with the WNYUA.  He so enjoyed playing Santa Claus for 20 years and seeing those special smiles on all the children.  He was also a member of Turkey Run Golf Course where you could often see him and David teeing off at the crack of dawn.
