TAFT, Doris Arlene (Mesch) of Eden, NY was born on March 15, 1928.

On August 18, 2024, Doris completed her journey through life at the age of 96.

She is survived by her daughter Patti (Armondo) and grandchildren Andrew and Erica.

Doris is also survived by her sister Anna Schweickert and brother William Mesch.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Vern Taft; happily married for 59 years, as well as sisters Gloria Schreiner and June Mesch, and brothers Boyd, Byron and Doran Mesch.

Doris was the daughter of the late Otto and Edna (Button) Mesch.

As per Doris' wishes, there will be no prior visitation or service.

The arrangements have been made by Wentland Funeral Home, North Collins, NY.

Doris will be laid to rest on Friday, August 30th at the North Collins Cemetery, Rt 62, North Collins, NY.

She will be dearly missed by family and friends who were close to her.
