Edward Joseph Sheehy, age 81, of Langford, NY passed away on March 28th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy rooted in his devotion to family, friends, and community, and in the joy he found in the meaningful places and moments of his life.

Edward was born in Buffalo, NY on July 16th, 1944 to John "Milton" and Mary Sheehy. He served in the military during the Vietnam War. Edward dedicated his time for 43 years to the railroad as an engineer working for New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail, and ended his career as the Director of Safety for the CSX Railroad for the Northeast Region. He was a proud member of the North Collins American Legion – Post 1640 and a member of the Men's Club at Epiphany of our Lord Church in Langford.

His spirit lives among his beloved wife, Carolyn (Winter) and three sons, Keith, Stephen (Mayra Morrison), and Sam (Beth). Edward adored his grandchildren, Edgar, Neven and Natalie along with cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will be present at 10 AM on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Epiphany of our Lord Church, 10893 Sisson Highway/Rt. 75, Langford. A mass of celebration will begin at 11 AM. Following the mass, everyone is welcome to join the family at the church hall for lunch.
