Tripp – Esther May (Munson)
Of Northridge, California formerly of North Collins, NY entered into eternal rest June 26, 2019 at the age of 94. She was born February 28, 1925. Cherished wife of Reverend Harry J. Tripp. Loving mother to 5 children: Cynthia (Michael) Rolka, H. James (Shelley Tarshis) Tripp, Patricia (Larry) Rovetti, Pamela (late Lawrence Montes) Tripp, and Deborah (John) LoBianco. Beloved grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Sister of Irene (late Reverend Florn) Johnson, Marie Glezen, Rhea (Dr. James) Markello, Grace (late Dr. Ross) Markello, Dr. Albert (Jean Meade) Munson, Beulah (late Eugene) Wing, late Dr. Benjamin (late Carol Gregg) Munson, Dr. Richard (Karen Goodling) Munson, late Dr. Paul (Karen Hopkins) Munson, and June (Dr. Samuel) Markello.
Esther was a secretary for the Gowanda Central School, retiring in 1979. She also assisted her husband in his ministry at what is now the North Collins Wesleyan Church beginning in 1972, and after her retirement from The Gowanda School System in 1979, assisted her husband in their ministry at Christian Assembly of God Church in Cortland, New York, until 1995, when they both retired from full time employment. Her remaining years were spent in Michigan and then California.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at The First Congregational Church, 10385 Main Street, North Collins at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service at the North Collins Cemetery to follow.
