KUBIAK,  Gene F. (Jean), of Lackawanna, NY passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 89 years.  Gene was predeceased by fiancée Donald J. Lester on September 12, 2002, her mother and father Jean C. and Matthew Kubiak, sister Dolores (Dee) and Brother in law Charles Rinaldi.  She is survived by nephews Charles (Marsha) Rinaldi, Gary (Nancy) Rinaldi and nieces Cheryl (Jeff) Lipowicz, Teri (Scott Serafin) Rinaldi, Donna (James) Goodwin and Diane Rinaldi.  Great aunt to 5 nieces and 3 nephews.   Great great aunt to 6 nephews and 1 niece.  Also survived by stepson Robert D. Lester.  Gene and Don were retirees of Niagara Mohawk and members of the Pension and 25 Year Clubs.  Friends may call Friday July 15 from 9-11 am at the Wentland Funeral Home 10634 Main St. (Rt. 62) followed by memorial Mass of Christian burial at 11 am from Holy Spirit Church North Collins, NY.  Arrangements by Wentland Funeral Home North Collins, NY.
