Jane was born on June 1, 1930 in Lawtons, NY to the late Harlem and Geneva (Sager) Velzy. Beloved wife of the late Wesley E. Minekime for 46 Years. Loving mother of Norman E. (Cheryl) Minekime and Dr. James W. (Carole) Minekime. Grandmother of Jonathan (Ashley), and Christine Minekime. Great grandmother of Wesley Minekime. Sister of Walter (late Suzanne) Velzy. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Wentland Funeral Home 10634 Main Street (Rt 62) North Collins, NY where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Collins Vol. Fire Dept. condolences may be made at www.wentlandfuneralhome.com. Jane was a class of 1946 North Collins School Graduate, longtime member of Collins Volunteer ladies Auxiliary, as well as a longtime member of Collins Center United Methodist Church. She was also a member and treasurer of the United Methodist Women at church and member of American Legion Auxiliary #409 of Gowanda, NY. In her spare time she loved to sew and bake. Interment will be held at North Collins Cemetery.
