MROZEK, John G. Jr., July 12, 2025 of North Collins, NY at the age of 71 years.  Beloved husband of June Karbowski.  Loving and devoted father of Emily and Morgan Mrozek.  Son of the late John Sr. and Janet Mrozek.  Brother of Christopher, Paul, Stephen (Faye) and Martin (Susan) Mrozek.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call for a memorial visitation Thursday July 17th from 3-7 PM  and Friday July 18th from 9-11 AM at the Wentland Funeral Home 10634 Main St. (Rt. 62) North Collins where memorial services will be held at 11 AM.  John was Past President of the Hamburg Teacher's Association and a guidance counselor at the Hamburg High School; he was the former Mayor and Trustee for the Village of North Collins and a Councilman for the Town of North Collins.  John was also an avid fly-fisherman and outdoor enthusiast.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in John's name to the Sierra Club or to the Arbor Day Foundation.
