NIEFERGOLD, Martin L, 85, of Lawtons, NY passed away July 4, 2024. He was born February 13, 1939 in North Collins, NY to the late Albert and Evalyn Niefergold. Martin is also predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Suzanne C. (Gernatt) Niefergold, his infant daughter Maryann Louise, and siblings Walter Niefergold and Dorothy Niefergold. Martin is survived by his children Bonnie (William) Timmons, Martin R. Niefergold, Daniel (Jill) Niefergold, and David (Emily) Niefergold; grandchildren Emily (Frederick) Peterson, David (Shelbey) Timmons, Holly, Jack, William, Kelly, Ashley, Danica, Allison, and Matthew Niefergold; great grandchildren Maeve and Eloise Timmons, and Theodore and Jonathan Peterson. Martin is also survived by his twin sister Margaret Waite, and his sister-in-law Shirley Niefergold; also many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Martin was a dairy farmer and also enjoyed coon hunting and playing euchre. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial mass celebrating Martin's life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 10893 Sisson Hwy., North Collins, NY. Please assemble at Church.
