Nathan Stapleton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nathan Richard Klein Stapleton, 44, of Springville, New York. He passed away peacefully at Buffalo General Medical Center on July 12, 2026. Nathan went to Springville-Griffith Institute High School. He worked as a tradesperson after he graduated. He spent countless hours volunteering and supporting various youth sports and little league games and activities to support his friends, family, and community. He has loved baseball since he was a little boy, and he could talk for hours about the sport. His “Home Team” consisted of family and friends whom he cherished. While spending time with his family was one of his first loves, he was loyal supporting his Buffalo Bills with passion and humor. As Nathan would say “Go Bills.”

Nathan was a kind, faithful, and loving son, brother and friend. His sense of humor was contagious to everyone around him. He is survived by his parents, Bonnie and Richard Stapleton, his siblings Stephanie Barnett and Ryan Stapleton, his nieces and nephews and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He loved them all tremendously.

A memorial gathering will be held at Maplewood Cemetery located at 445 W. Main St., Springville, NY, on Friday, July 17,2026 at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity closest to your heart.
