Paul Chesley Knibloe

KNIBLOE, Paul Chesley, October 31, 2026 at the age of 87 years. Paul was born September 30, 1939 to the late Donald and Beula (Mills) Knibloe. He was the loving husband of 58 years to Marie (Spinner) Knibloe. Father of Julia (Theodore) Decker and James (Christine) Knibloe. Grandfather of Colin and Claire Decker and Elliott and Daphne Knibloe. Brother of the late Wells (Allene) Knibloe, Keith (Grace) Knibloe and Elaine (Chester) Trott. Brother-in-Law of Charles (late Doreen) Spinner. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Paul was a 1957 graduate of Fillmore Central High School and a 1961 graduate of the University of Buffalo where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He joined the U.S. Navy and went to OCS in Rhode Island. From there he was assigned to special weapons in New Mexico and was stationed on the USS Shangri-La carrier for three years then joined the reserves and retired as a Commander. He worked for Worthington Pump, Cooper Energy and Dresser Rand. Paul was a former member of the Corning Country Club and Springville Country Club.

Friends may call Thursday November 5th from 3-7 PM at the Wentland Funeral Home, 10634 Main St. (Rt 62) North Collins, NY. Funeral Mass will be held Friday November 6th at 10 AM from the Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 1993 Brant Rd. North Collins, NY.
