Beloved husband of the late Anne M. (Armbruster) Schmitt. Loving father of Deborah (James) Eckhart, Ronald "Duke" (Sue) Schmitt, and Robert (Sandy) Schmitt. Grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Brother of Allen (Late Anita) Schmitt, Margaret (Roger) Ritz and the late James R. Schmitt. No prior visitation. A memorial mass will be offered November 20, 20201 at 10 AM from Epiphany of Our Lord Church Langford, NY. Please assemble at church. Ron was a member of the Langford New Oregon Vol. Fire Dept., American Legion Post 880 Eden, the Army National Guard and the Erie and New York State Fire Police Association.
