WINTER, Virginia Irene, August 21, 2023 of North Collins, NY passed away at Jennie B. Richmond nursing home at
the age of 98.

She was born June 5, 1925, and was the daughter of the late George Lowell and Gladys (Montgomery) Brooks. She loved traveling, her husband's flower and tree projects as well as his vegetable garden canning much of the bounty. Family gatherings meant so much to Ginny and took pride in cooking for them. She is survived by her children: Sharon (late Gary) Parsell of Arcade; Francis (Bonnie) Winter of Springville, NY; and Ronald (Jodell) Winter of Great Falls, MT; sisters: Mary Lou Sworts of Delevan and Norma Brooks of Buffalo; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son Herbert Lowell; her siblings Francis Brooks, Velma Spencer, and Verna Wojcik.

Visitation for Virginia will be Saturday August  26, from 2-4:30 pm at Wentland Funeral Home in North Collins with a service immediately following.
